Credits and Thanks

Helping Hearts started out as a personal commitment to help raise money for MVD research via the UK Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Millennium Health Fund Appeal, in memory of my Ruby Cavalier, Rufus who died from MVD. I could not have reached my target of £1000 without help from many people from all over the world, a few of whom are credited here.

To all the others, you know who you are, and that you have earned the gratitude of many Cavaliers and their owners who will be helped by your contributions...

Memorial Pages

These Cavaliers all died from heart related problems, and their memorial pages have helped raise money for the Health Fund:

Dodger's memorial page has helped raise money for the Health Fund, thanks to his owners the Donaldsons.

Rufus died from MVD in 1998; I have made a donation to the fund in his memory.

Bet Hargreave's page Dedicated to Ailsa has also raised money for the Fund, and she has offered us the opportunity to publish her list of long-lived Golden Oldies Cavaliers.
