General Club Information

Since the formation of our Mid-Western Cavalier Club in 1990, encompassing Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, we have endeavoured to serve the needs of everyone from the serious breeder to those who enjoy their Cavaliers as much-loved pets - our LOVE SPONGES!!!

Our Club holds an average of Two Annual Booster in each province, Annual Cavalier Picnics for our Cavaliers, as well as Annual Christmas Parties and Pot Luck Dinners for their owners.

We held Our First Specialty on August 17, 1995, with Judge Denis Montford, Braganzar prefix, Australia. We also hosted the Canadian National Club Annual Specialty on August 16, 1995, with Judge Maurene Milton, Fontelania prefix, England. The venue was the beautiful Holiday Inn South, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Our Mid-Western Club is looking forward to holding our Second Specialty. Plans are evolving for our next Specialty in 1998/99 in Winnipeg, Manitoba;and in Alberta the following year. Unfortunately the National Club will not be joining us for another two day Specialty in 1998.
